Chesh the Skorupi wanders about, clacking its pincers and mandibles at many of the other Pokemon in the area. Most ignore it though. The majority of the people around don't seem terribly interesting at the moment. Not five minutes later, a certain excitable Electric Branch member turns up.

"So, I've been meaning to ask. How secret is this... thing with Leanne and fairies s'posed to be? I get that you don't want to share your business with everyone, but Leanne's tripped up once or twice talking with Rei, and I think I might've too. How much of a problem is it if she figures things out?"

As usual, Yue is completely oblivious to anything but her current goal. She doesn't even notice Rei hanging around attempting to do the same thing as her. Alas, it seems like they must have just missed the siblings, who departed only minutes before Rei arrived again on a mission.

Rei sees Yue come in... and then go right out! She just laughs and shakes her head. But hey this and the poison branch are run by two saucy women, that’s gotta bleed more down to others, right? Also she’s noting that everyone in her seems... similar to her somehow. She can’t quite put a finger on it...

Leon looked at Brooke "Oh it's supposed to be a big secret, but Leanne had been running for a good day and a half without sleep at that point, so she was a little...loopy. As for how bad it would be if Rei found out? Not that bad...I think, she seems trustworthy and the fact that she's using ghost types at all proves she's not affiliated with my family. But we've only known her for a few days, we should work out if she's someone who would blackmail or gossip. Not saying that Rei is, but being sure of that before she knows the whole truth is important," he said knowing this information had a lot of power over him and didn't want it being abused or spread out too much.

Brooke nods. "Awright. If anyone asks me, I can say it's none of my business and none of theirs, either. You... well, I guess you can say the same. Or you could try for something more... subtle?" Brooke shrugs. "Might be good to come up with a standard explanation so you don't get tripped up when you're on the spot, whatever you do."
"What was Leanne doing that kept her up that long, anyway?"

"Trying to avoid us being discovered, wouldn't be great if a male dark branch member appeared in the steel branch in a girls room," Leon said softly "We hadn't found a private place in town to switch, and Rei was with us the entire time in the swamp. So she had to stay up and out the whole time," Leon explained being a bit vague using explanations that could be explained away if someone was listening in.

"Yeah that would have been the smart thing to do," he said pausing for a moment as Leanne snapped back that she wasn't sure at the start if Leon would ever let her out, outside of battles which Leon conceded he'd been a little rough to his mental roommate at the start "But yes, we've managed to find an inn who knows we're brother in sister and it's cheap enough we can stay without much trouble, when she's 'sleeping' I go out and vice versa. One of us might try switching branches eventually but we're a bit worried Lady Sorra Shields or Lady D'Mara will think whoever switches is a spy when we do," Leon explained.

"It actually was because of that feud, she figured that if she was in the Steel Branch and took jobs for them. It would mean I'd have to 'let her work', back before we reached the understanding we have now and she was worried I'd make her 'stay home,' unless it was out on a mission," Leon said explaining Leanne's thought process at the time "Now she just likes it there, she says it's hard work some days but most of the people and Lady Sorra Shield's are kind," Leon explained for Leanne.

"I gotta admit, I sort of resented her when you first explained what was going on. Felt like she was trying to steal your life, or half of it anyway. But that ain't really fair, is it? 's not like she's got it any easier."

Leon paused for a second "She says it's fine and that she understands. She was a strange person who just burst into your life, and then your friend says he has to share his life with her it's understandable you'd see her as this invading creature. But she's glad you don't anymore and appreciates that you sympathize with the situation," he said relaying Leanne's words to Brooke "And don't worry, we're trying our best to find an equilibrium together, neither one of us wants to end up pushing the other out, and hopefully we'll be able to work it out so you guys don't see me in person for days at a time," Leon said assuring Brooke

Leon nodded "That does seem like the best option, maybe when the dust settles with the Hectils we can have the Ravenbrandt information network start looking into that. Heck, that might already be happening with Nue's interest in Leanne," he said not thinking it was a far stretch that Nue might be looking for a way to separate the pair.

"Well we could always go check out the family home. I don't know if they would have stayed there after I told the Celadon Guard about them, but there might be some clue as to where they went. Though that carries the risk that we'd be going right into the belly of the beast if they haven't abandoned it," Leon said knowing it would likely be a very difficult if not an impossible battle to take on his family and their followers all at once.
