Rati seems relieved it is just some bruising, but eyes C.C. with concern. The retreat of a Sea King had almost done them in, she couldn't imagine what its directed wrath could do. She starts down towards Crocus' place where their boat sits moored.
The Shroomish lets out another mild grunt, leaning forward and staring at the Pokeball. Three times, it looked between the fish man, the pokeball and the now sheer cliff face where its home used to be. In the exact same tone of irritable mushroom, it finally taps the button on the ball and disappears.
C.C. finds the pond Raul had described with a bit of guidance, though the topography is different then it was, it thankfully still holds water. The pond is still and empty.

C.C. knew it was probably silly, but he did kind of promise to give them the choice after he got out of the cave. He wasn't going to go back on his word. Plus if they chose to stay he was going to want to let them meet the rest of his team. He let the two new mon. "Alright. We're out of the cave. I said I'd give you the choice after, so I'm giving you the choice." The battered C.C. placed the pokeballs on the ground next to the water's edge. He let out his other two mon. "So will you join us on our adventure?"

"Well, I guess I'm going to head back then. I don't think there's anything overly dangerous around."
Raúl watched C.C. walk off but decided to let him do his own thing, the kid obviously had something on his mind. He decided to walk back to the path he had cleared earlier to make sure the "earthquake" hadn't caused another rockslide. He wasn't in the best condition but Raúl didn't want to let all that hard work go to waste.

Rati, Aikan, and Raul head down to the ship, discussing the appearance of the Sea King briefly with Crocus as a bitterly chill wind billows off the Line. The lighthouse keeper can't offer any details on the creature, stating plain that those caves had been there longer then he was. The ship bobs in the rocky surf, and the crew piles aboard, waiting for C.C. to arrive a short time later.
The Pokemon that had been saved by the musician were gracious for his kindness, and would journey with him ever after. In the distance, the silhouette of the Sea King moved against sea and sky, bellowing a lamentation that echoed into the horizon.
(You may roleplay among yourselves, and/or set a course now.)

That would do it for C.C. He still felt that he may have just torn a child from a parent, but the child was really cool and seemed to want to go with him. And go with him they shall. He went through introductions with his new members, allowing them to interact with his established crew. Once satisfied he returned them all to their pokeballs and made his way back to Crocus' place, and then back onto the ship. Log pose in hand and new members in his crew, C.C. felt more confident and capable than ever. He would help navigate to the next location. Once on board he waved to his friends and travel companions. The fact that he was in a very good mood was very apparent.

Aikan had released all his pokemon as soon as he got onto the ship, though Ewan preferred to stay near the water. He'd done his best to introduce the squad, though he had a nagging suspicion that his new Shroomish would stay mildly annoyed at him (at best) for quite a while. He did recall Ewan after a bit, but left Marea and the newcomer out for a bit of roaming.
While the two pokemon got into trouble, Aikan had set himself on categorizing and arranging all of their new supplies. He'd have to figure out a good rationing system later.
"So... C.C? Where to now? Do we have to do something for that log pose thingy to tell us where to go?"

"Well I do believe we had decided to make our way to Whiskey Peak. Is that still the plan? As far as I can remember we don't need to do anything to get the log pose to work, so we should be all set to go." C.C. made his way to the room he'd been using to navigate, setting up his the instruments so that they could depart.

Raúl checked that the supplies had been loaded up before saying goodbye to him and Io. He grinned as his stepped onto the slightly rocking deck, after the cave-in it was nice to be back on a ship. Raúl heard the others conversation as he walked up. As he arrived C.C. walked away, turning to Aikan he gave the fishman a hearty slap on the back.
"Well, while old Crocus there seemed like a nice enough fellow I'll be glad to head in the the Line proper. Whiskey Peak's as good a place as any other. How did you're search go? Find anything interestin?"

Log pose set, course charted, fair and favorable (if cold) winds, our intrepid young pirates set sail from Crocus' lighthouse towards a journey unknowable. Whiskey Peak was several days by boat, but with supplies to spare it shouldn't be an issue to reach. Ceci and Rati navigate in shifts. It isn't until the middle of the second day that the seas become rough, and choppy. The cold air coming off the line, strange in this climate, becomes downright frigid! It isn't until the first chunk of ice grazes the hull with a loud grating sound that it is clear something wicked this way comes.
The clouds are dark, heavy, and thick with wet. The wind howls. The usually calm sea begins to buck, ghostly blue-white shapes hefted and rolled by the surf. All hands on deck, All hands on deck!
(Rough Waters; Navigation Checks suffer a -3 Penalty. High Winds; The sails will need to be trimmed and adjusted so they aren't ripped from the mast/damaged. Bergs; Failed Navigation checks inflict damage on the ship. Loud; Speech not written in all caps is drowned out by the wind, rain, and surf. Teamwork; Successful checks and actions improve Navigation Checks by +2, up to a maximum of +6.)

Aikan jumped to his feet and rushed towards the mast and the sails.
"ALRIGHT, I CAN PROVIDE THE MUSCLE BUT SEEING AS I DON'T DROWN, I DON'T REALLY KNOW WELL HOW TO KEEP A SHIP AFLOAT. ANYONE WANNA TELL ME HOW TO ADJUST THESE" he shouted over the winds, scrambling to find the ropes that guided and fastened the sails.

Raúl ran after Aikan, rain plastering his mask to his face.
"WE'VE GOT TO GET THE SAILS ROLLED UP SO THEY DON'T GET TORN APART AND WE DON'T GET BLOWN WAY OFF COURSE. PULL THAT ROPE, I'LL GET THE THIS ONE. HEAVE!"
With that Raúl pulled with all his might.

C.C. remained stationed at his position manning the wheel. He had to remain calm in this situation. Panicking would only result in failure and they could not fall here. "KEEP THOSE SAILS UP. I CAN'T FACTOR SUCH HEAVY WINDS INTO MY NAVIGATION WITH THEM DOWN." He got to work quickly making calculations and adjusting their course as necessary He had to be efficient but he couldn't afford to make mistakes here. He slowed his breathing, focusing on the challenge they needed to overcome. "DOING GREAT BOYS! KEEP IT UP AND WE'LL GET THROUGH THIS ONE."

Rati keeps to the bow of the ship, calling directions back to C.C. for how to steer the ship to avoid the incoming icebergs. Typically to the effect of degrees port or stern. With the frequent tending of the sails, the first leg of the storm is broken through without struggle. The freezing air and wet begins to wear at the vitality of the assisting parties! In the distance, there is a mournful bellow of the Sea King that had been seen off of Crocus' point, a crack of lightning splitting the sky as flurries of snow fills the air. The ice chunks become more frequent, and larger.

Aikan held strong, trying to keep from being swept over by the storm.
"ALRIGHT I THINK I GOT THE HANG OF THIS, AS LONG AS MY HANDS DON'T FREEZE AND FALL OFF. SAILS ARE AS STILL AS I CAN GET 'EM, CC!"

Raúl let C.C. lead as the kid seemed to know what he was about, using his strength to help Aikan he kept the sail on the prescribed course.
"ALRIGHT C.C. WHAT DO YOU WANT US TO DO NEXT?"

C.C. was focused on the task at hand, zoning in on all of the possibilities and running rough calculations through his head. "I NEED YOU TO TACK THE SAILS TO PORT 20 DEGREES AND THEN HOLD ON TIGHT!" They were close. If they kept this up they would be just fine, a little rough, but alive and largely unharmed. He manned the wheel to accommodate for the changes. This should get them going so that they aren't half fighting the wind while still accounting for the rough seas. Gen ed roll = 14
