Raúl scratched his chin for a minute, he might have seen one or two of these before but he really couldn't remember what was what. Picking at random he tossed a Pokeball and crossed his fingers.

Aikan let C.C. walk on and turned towards the source of the scuffle. He released Ewan as support, anticipating something with fire powers because of the light, and slowly inched forward.

A grass pokemon would be invaluable on the sea, and I do already have both a fire and a water. Rati pondered as she considered how best to approach the three. Her wiles hadn't always worked the best on Pokemon, but it would have to do. She'd grown tired of fighting for the day. "That looks like fun~<3." She offered sweetly, having a seat against a nearby tree so as to not appear threatening. "Can I play too?"

Raul’s throw is spot on, managing to smack into the brown fish before the pokeball bobs back up to the surface. The other three mon scatter at the disturbance, the lilypad ducking into a tangle of weed while there’s a flurry of mud and water as something blue with streaks of red darts into a half-submerged hole in the edge of the pond. Only the Magikarp seems to be unaffected, swimming quickly for a few moments to get away from where the other fish had vanished, before turning to begin nibbling at some algae.
C.C. rounds the bend, finding a large cavern with a distinct chill to it. Ice is even forming at the edges of the pool, and a vast tunnel appears to open into a submerged lava tube, black rock glinting in the light. The source of the spring apparently. A small seal-like blue pokemon is sitting on a rock formation, barking and chirping, blowing bubbles and then popping them to provide sharp bursts of sound. Around it are several shards of eggs, many of which appear to be relatively fresh.
And sitting placidly in the water next to the pinniped pokemon is a medium sized creature with a long neck and a light grey shell. Its skin is almost entirely a light blue, and as it slaps its flukes and “sings” C.C. can tell that it’s probably about as large as Aikan. Neither mon seem to have noticed C.C quite yet, though they appear to be integrating the tune he’s making their music unconsciously.
As Rati steps into view, the little bear and it’s partners startle, with both little grass types giving squeaks of surprise. The bear squares up though, taking a defensive stance in front of its friends... before cocking its head at Rati. It grumbles something to the two grass types, who chirrup in response. Carefully picking the two up once again, the little bear juggles them to build up momentum... before tossing one to Rati.
[Make an Acrobatics check, DC 14]
Above, the lizard gives a snort of discontent, and slithers away into the foliage, apparently not willing to risk a confrontation with a human in the mix now as well. The leaves that had been hanging in front of it wither and yellow from it’s breath as it moves out of sight.
Aikan, you follow the side tunnel, leaving C.C. to his fate. You hear screeching, scuffling, and a minor whoosh as flames ignite. He emerges into a small cavern with many branching tunnels, a few that he can feel air coming through that likely lead further up the Red Line. The scene before him is one of primordial combat.
A scuffed and singed little lump of yellow with green spots is fighting for it’s life against a small lizard with a flame-tipped tail. The seemingly one-sided fight appears to have been equalized thanks to the lizard shaking with the effects of paralysis, spores glistening on its scales in the light of its tail-flame. There’s something watching with gleaming eyes from within the mouth of one of the tunnels as well, a small boulder with shining spikes of what appear to be stubble growing from it’s “scalp”.
Aikan will likely only have a brief chance to catch one or the other of the combatants, or attempt to entice the observer out.

C.C.'s eyes widen. He definitely didn't anticipate being lucky enough to encounter 2 musical mon at the same time. And likely water types to boot. Today really was his lucky day. Joining some pirates for adventuring. Finding a log pose through happenstance. He continues to sing, but does not approach just yet. He can't resist adding more to the music so he lets Dab'loon out of her ball and encourages her to join in the tune. He waits to see how they respond to another voice, reaching for his violin.

Raúl gives the Magikarp a sideways glance, the thing was either braver than he would have thought or just kind of oblivious. Mentally going over his stores of Pokeballs he considered capturing it as well, after a short while he shrugged and threw another ball at it. Worst case he'd get a bit of Beri out of it, didn't think he'd get much out of a Magikarp but that didn't matter much.

Aikan, having only a few seconds to react, attempted to lob out a pokeball. However, he slipped just as his arm started the throwing motion.

Rati tilts her head just-so, curious about what the little bear might be doing as it winds up to throw the berry. That was a bit more than a gentle toss coming, she realized far too late. Her hands came up to receive the berry Pokemon perhaps a little too slowly, and she winced away from the impact even before it arrived. ULsdg8hV2d6+1 AP Spent
To her surprise, the berry thudded into her bosom solidly, but not painfully. It elicited a little grunt and she exhaled in relief (and also from the force of it). "Easy, you could have hurt her..." She chided the bear softly.

The two wild mon turn in surprise when they're joined by this third entity, the flash of the pokeball release bouncing off the icy walls and the glassy water. The two tense initially, but as the Jigglypuff begins to sing softly, not attempting to put the others to sleep, merely providing a tune, they begin to relax slowly, before joining in, causing Dab'loon to improvise and adapt to their own melodies. [Preform a charm roll to keep the mon from fleeing when C.C. emerges. DC is 8 for the Popplio, 12 for the Lapras]
Raul has effectively cleared the pond, the other two mon he'd glimpsed are now well out of sight. Perhaps the others are having decent luck? [Level 12 Brave Magikarp, knows Bounce as an Egg move; Level 13 Modest Feebas, no egg moves]
Aikan's attempt to throw the pokeball goes horribly, the orb slipping in his grip as he threw it, and ending up shattered when it hit a sharp rock at just the right angle to break the hinge. The two combatants are now locked on Aikan. He can try to block off one of them from escape, or go after the observer, but whatever choice he makes, the other two will likely be able to scamper up into tunnels too small for him to follow through. [Athletics roll DC 11 to block off the Shroomish from easily escaping or DC 8 Acrobatics to get close enough to the Alolan Geodude to sling a pokeball at it]
The little grass-type in Rati's hands coos and giggles happily, while the ursine cub rolls its eyes in an unimpressed manner. The second grass type giggles as it's bounced up and down, the cub clearly planning on tossing the second one to Rati and expecting her to throw the other one to it. [Acrobatics roll DC 5 now that you're expecting it] 3pbNr6YY

Aikan attempted to get in the way of the shroomish but the surprise at the bad throw cost him a vital second and he was worried he may be just a little bit short on time to actually do it (10 on 4d6+1 for DC 11 Athletics)

C.C. slowly makes his presence known, hoping to keep the two mon from fleeing by continuing the music. He switches to his violin instead of singing and slowly approaches with Dab'loon following closely. Right in this moment C.C. is very much overjoyed, and he tries to convey through his music that he has no foul intentions. Even if he didn't catch either of the two mon he would remember this day for the rest of his life. If the two allow him to get closer he will reach out to try to touch the mon with the shell. But rather than placing his hand on the creature directly he will hold his hand out inviting the mon to come to him. He speaks softly. "Hello there. Nice to meet you. My name is Cicelio Mendini, but most people call me C.C."

Raúl picked up the two Pokeballs and clipped them to his belt. He wondered how everyone else was doing with their attempts, wandering aimlessly he sauntered toward the cave to see how the others were doing. As he walked he contemplated names for his new companions.

This wasn't something she'd done before, and it was really lifting for her spirits. The Pokemon nestled against her chest was enjoying it, so she didn't see any harm in continuing, a gentle child-like laugh escaping her as she tucked it into the crook of her arm and began to play catch with the bear in earnest.

Aiken's throw hadn't just startled the two combatants. As the reptile fled, the little grass type scampered for another tunnel, headed right for the stubble-headed rock. Seeming to panic, it slapped a hand against the tunnel wall it was in. There was a rain of small stones and minor boulders, and as the dust cleared several tunnels were now blocked. Including the one the rock-type had been in... and the one that the grass type had been angling for to escape! Aikan still had a chance!
The two mon startle as C.C. appears, but his own mon's music coupled with his non-threatening appearance help keep them from bolting. As the musician approaches, the one with the shell nudges to the side, allowing C.C. to place his hand on its shell. The other pokemon lets out a happy bark, sliding down from its rock to gambol around the man's feet. It seems that both of them are quite friendly! The water in the pool ripples then, as a tremor rocks through the ground.
As Raul makes his way into the tunnel, he's startled by a tremor shaking the ground. Small, localized, but strong enough to send skree spilling down either side of the cave mouth. From further in he hears the fall of rocks.
As the little grass type swings through the air it shrieks in glee, its companion hopping happily back and forth as the little cub attempts to show off, tossing one while "juggling" the other by bobbling it in the palm of its paw. After a few tosses back and forth, the cub switched things up, tossing the other grass-type to Rati. As the game continued though, there was a dulled rumbling coming from the direction of the cave. The three mon all came to attention, looking warily in the direction of the sound. With a grumble, the cub moves up and pats Rati's thigh, apparently moving to collect its companion. If she wants to convince one or more of them to go with her, now's the time!

Raúl's head snapped up when he heard the sound, he was pretty sure that some of the others had gone down here. Without thinking he broke into a run down the tunnel toward the noise, doing his best to make his way over the rocky ground.

Aikan quickly fumbled through his pack and was already in the motion of throwing before noticing he had a Pecha berry instead. Trying to salvage the situation he caught himself and held out the berry.
"Well, that wasn't the best of starts but I'm a cook, and would love to have either of ya come with me" he said. "I can keep you well fed. Heck, if you come with me I'll give you this Lum berry right here"

C.C. wrapped his arms around the group of mon as the rumbling began. He was genuinely worried about the safety of the two he found, not just his own. "It's alright. I think it stopped." He returned his arms to his side and reached into his pack. "If rocks are falling its not safe for you here. I can get you outside the cave. Come with me, we can see the world together. And then we can make so much more music on the way. Or... if you'd prefer I can get you out of the cave and then set you free outside so you aren't trapped in here." His eyes were wide and hopeful as he pulled out a pair of pokeballs, gauging their reaction. If they seem to like this idea he will tap a ball against each mon, starting with the shelled one.

"You knoooowww~ You don't -have- to go back into that dank, dark cave. You could come with me, across the ocean! We could play games like this all the time, and I could show you even better ones." Rati spoke in warm, playful tones, taking a knee so she could lean closer to the three Pokemon.

(Filling in for Lockdown;)
The shaking in the caves continues in earnest, progressively larger lumps of debris coming down. It mixes with puffs of sand and sea spray. Something was disturbing this place far more than might be considered normal. Raul presses deeper into the caves, against a wave of bats and nesting seabirds fleeing the collapse. The Shroomish, remiss to skip a free meal but similarly not wanting to remain and discuss the finer points of projectile minerology, stuffs the entire berry into it's mouth and begins hopping along as fast as it can along the roiling ground. It can't outpace Aikan, and pauses periodically to make sure he's continuing to follow it. It's the only indication he receives that things might be looking up for that particular relationship.
(Athletics or Acrobatics from all parties in the cave, take a tick of damage from falling scree.)
The Lapras huddles in on itself, looking between the strange round thing that was very red. It wasn't blue, which it didn't care for too much. All of it's friends were blue, with the exception of the pink one. Pink was okay. Rocks were brown though, and heavy. That was just awful. Both it and the Popplio opt for the safety of captivity over the unsafety of falling rocks, and disappear into their respective balls.

Aikan made his way through the unstable caverns, following the Shroomish as best as he could. Thankfully he was pretty well-suited to smaller spaces, and his training made him athletic enough to keep up.
