Crocus smiles, then cracks his back, grimacing slightly. He makes an expansive gesture towards the three areas he'd indicated before, before groaning as something in his shoulder apparently seizes up.
With Aikan and Rati, they find themselves at the foot of a small but sturdy dock. The water around the dock is teeming with the bright orange bodies of magikarp as they scoop up the plentiful algae and roe that the massive stream of water from Reverse Mountain fed into the Grand Line. Magikarp were relatively weak and skittish pokemon, so it was possible that they'd be able to drive them off. Hopefully before any predators chanced upon the writhing masses of fish pokemon. The question now was, how to break up and scare away the school?
C.C. and Io go around the back and find a medium-sized plot of land, with some well-tended berry bushes, some rows of corn, beans and other edible plants... and a cordoned off area defined by pegs driven into the ground and string looped around them to set the shape of the area. The grass is close-cropped, but the dirt is hardly turned at all, a hoe and a shovel laying off to one side by a tool shed.
Raul makes his way to the indicated rock slide... and finds a large series of boulders has indeed blocked the path, smaller rocks falling into the crevices and further locking the mass together. It's a big job for one man...

"How does something so weak survive?" Rati wondered at the floundering fish as they milled about in the foam and surf, Danube at her side. "Suppose we give them reason to move on... Danube, make your entrance!"
The Prinplup dropped into the surf and roiling fish, releasing exploding bubbles in a torrent around itself, adding pain to the already confused feeding frenzy.

Raúl cracked his knuckles as he approached the pile of rocks. Doing this by himself wouldn't be fun, luckily for him he wasn't alone out here. He released Che and Alba, grinning as the pair stretched. "Now chiquitos, we've got a bit of a job here. Nice fella named Crocus needs this here path cleared, everyone else has jobs to do so this one's up to us. Che, you and I have practiced breaking rocks before so we're going to break them into smaller chunks. Alba, you've got some strong muscles on ya so I'm gonna need you to start hauling the manageable ones away. Once all the bigger rocks are gone we'll all work together on getting the lot out. Got it?"Che shot up a tiny salute before striking his rock breaking pose, Alba grinned and hefted her piece of timber. Raúl guffawed as the three of them set to work. Aikan released Marea, who growled at the fish.
"They breed really fast. Like, too fast to handle. And they eat mud, so they don't really need much to survive. Plus they taste horrible so nothing wants to eat them"
[Marea Growl reduces attack of the nearest targets maybe? If that's relevant?]

Rati, you're able to see a flash of something that is not a Magikarp before the school roils back in. It was small and pale with a light blue back. Less than a foot long, it seems to be what the school of Magikarp is centering itself around. The Magikarp that were hit with the bubble flee, and as Aikan watches some of them actually seem to fade away into shimmers of energy. Raul, between the three of you the pile is quickly beginning to reduce in size. Some of the boulders seem to have geodes in them, and a few are even some kind of crystals.

Raúl gives his Pokemon the occasional bit of encouragement as they make good progress on the rocks. Noticing the sparkles of crystal he keeps his eyes peeled for interesting pieces.

"There's a different kind of fish in there. I'm not sure if I recognize it." Rati considered for a moment, gesturing to where she'd seen it last. "Danu, try to force it to the surface! Aikan, were you always so knowledgeable about fish?" Rati asks curiously, with what almost seems to be willful ignorance. |sZAbvoq2d6 Pokemon Edu 1d20 Push Maneuver Vs. 3d6 Athletics 2d6·1d20·3d6

"Not always, but I am a fishman. And due to certain events during my... upbringing, I learnt how to handle fish first. So I'd say I know a fair bit about them" Aikan said with a bit of a shrug. He tried to see if he could catch a glimpse of the different fish that Rati was referring to, but didn't seem to have much luck.
"I do know that Magikarp can't teleport, though. I don't think this is a school of 'Karp we're facing. Don't suppose you'd have a Dark-type around?"

C.C. approaches Crocus hesitantly. "I don't suppose you have any tools or tips for a couple novices like us?" He gestures to Io. "I'm just not sure where to begin."

The glint of crystal looks like it may be something valuable... but it turns out to simply be regular quartz crystals. Shiny but hardly worth anything. With the help of his team, Raul is able to clear the rest of the way quickly. (Perception check from Raul please)
Crocus opens one eye from where he's parked himself in a sun chair and was beginning to nap, to look at C.C. "Eh? Well there's a small pull-plow in the shed. The grass is already cut down, so you and some mon could probably break the ground up pretty easily.
As Aikan and Rati compare notes, they determine that the fish Rati spotted may be what's known as a Wishiwashi. On their own and when especially young they're rather weak, but once they gain enough strength they're able to call together vast schools to create a massive construct. Even a single Wishiwashi is able to materialize faux schoolmates to create it once they gained proper hold of their power. This one seems to be at an intermediate stage and may be working in tandem with the actual Magikarp school here to increase their numbers and make it harder for predators to actually take and eat the other fish. On the other hand, the fact that it's doing that rather than using it's Schooling Ability as intended probably means it's not actually that powerful.
Danu's attempt to force the other mon to the surface succeeds, and there's a brief flash as the greater majority of the Magikarp gain a translucent sheen about them for several seconds while the Wishiwashi gets its bearings back. It must be young indeed, a Wishiwashi with full control of its ability can't be moved from within its School.

As his small squad finished cleaning off the last rubble Raúl straightens up and dusts off his hands, glad to see a job well done.
"Great going chiquitos, you've both done me proud. Lets make sure everything is done around here and then head over to see if anyone still needs our help."

"Oooh, what a strange little thing... I'll bet it would be useful with some training and a bit of pampering." Rati batted her lashes at Aikan playfully. "Would you help me catch it~? It would certainly solve what's ailing our host."

Io looked at C.C. somewhat apologetically. He didn't seem the type that was used to heavy work. "Well, lets get to it I suppose. I think my Inkay, Metis, can help a little with her Telepathy. I'm not the most well versed in farming work, but we just have to break up the ground, turning the dirt into soil, right? I'm sure you've come across the topic of farming before if you're widely read."
She smiles and nods at Crocus, then heads back to the plot of land, grabbing the hoe. She releases Metis as she waits for C.C. to return before getting to work.

C.C. smiles and thanks Crocus for his help. He goes back to where the work needed to be done. "I'm not really sure what to do. I might have read something about it at some point." He thinks about it for a moment and then it suddenly becomes a little clearer. "I may have come across something, but it's been some time. Like you said. We just need to break the soil. Nothing will grow here if we leave it too hard. We should make a few evenly spaced rows and leave enough room for whatever is being planted to grow. You start on that end. I'll work over here."
He releases both of his mon and realizes just how little help he can actually provide at this task. But he is determined to finish the job he set out to do. He approaches the push plow and begins to formulate a plan. "Alright Paulie, you grab on here," He points at a crossing bar near the handles. I'll grab the handles and we'll push together. Da'bloon, you push down near the bottom, hold on to that bar. We can get this done."

Between C.C., Io and their pokemon, they're able to tear through the thick roots and the sod that makes up the turf that they're plowing. The most frustrating spot though, yields a mass of roots surrounding a heavy iron box, pitted with rust. The lock is so heavily corroded that a single good blow from the shovel is enough to sunder it. Inside is a mass of old books and sketches; maps of islands that you've never even heard of. And packed away in a padded container to one side is a craggy egg of greenish-gray hue, with red stripes and flecks of white over the shell.
(Gained one Ancient Egg, journals, and maps of unknown islands)
Hidden at the very bottom of the chest is a small glass sphere with a floating compass needle. A Log Pose.
As Raul goes to turn and report his success to Crocus, he spots movement at the top of the ravine. It's brief, a couple flickers, but he's able to track them for a split second. Two small forms of black and white, and a bouncing sphere of green and dark pink. They quickly move out of sight, but apparently there's something living up there.
The remainder of the Magikarp finally break as the smaller fish pokemon is shoved forcefully out of the water, flopping about on the dock. "Wishiwashi!" it burbles. It looks like it's been put through the wringer so far.

Io was slightly breathless as she beheld their find. This was mostly due to the difficulty in excavating it, but she quickly caught her breath, then looked at C.C.. "This... We are very lucky." A smile grows on her face, which rapidly turns into a massive grin. She laughs a little, incredulous at just how much luck they must have to find something this vital and rare. "Lets take this stuff back to the others. I wonder how they'll react." Her grin lessens at a sudden thought. "I wonder how Crocus is going to react. Hopefully he won't want to take this stuff, especially the Log Pose. It is his farmland after all, but I don't believe he has an actual use for any of this." She shakes her head. "Let's just see what happens. Help me carry this stuff?" She lowers herself down to the iron box, taking hold of one side.

C.C. wheezes and pants. "Can't believe we just found a Log Pose out here. And maps? I agree. Hopefully we can bring them along with us if he doesn't have a use for them." He grabs the other side of the box after recalling his mon and thanking them on a job well done. The gears in his mind start spinning as he wonders and theorizes about what secrets these maps hold. With a giddy, and somewhat goofy, smile on his face he helps Io carry the box back to Crocus.

"You've had a difficult day little friend, rest your weary soul upon my bosom." Rati comforted it gently before loosing a Poke ball. She didn't watch it's trajectory, nor concern herself with the state of the Pokemon beyond that, instead turning her attention to the fish man. "Thank you for the help, I'd much rather deal with these sorts of things, over Marines and pirates..."
