Nero taps his chin looking over the list. "The lillipup gives the most money, but there's no pokemon to catch really. I don't know if the capture job lets us keep the pokemon either, and with us only having two types between us hunting one specific pokemon may be hard... The Bandits job would be good for battle practice, which I know I need. You've probably got a lot of practice, huh Jack?"
"Me? Heh, not really. Peeko and I don't usually fight the Pokemon, we just take pictures of them." He laughed a little, a bit embarrassed by this, "But, the Professor is specifically looking for pictures of Pokemon using their moves, so battling is not a bad idea." He tapped his chin, "It says if we aept them, we an get more information. Why don't we just nab them all? We don't have to do them all at once or anything. That way we can prepare."
As Jack first accepts the Missing Lillipup job and attempts to scroll to the next job, the screen flashes,
Trainer currently limited to ONE job. Complete or cancel current selection to change jobs.
Looking at the job on his Pokédex, Jack reads,
Missing Lillipup belongs to Trish Timbers of 420 Timber Lane. Upon finding Reese's, please return him to this address where you will receive payment. Please ensure no harm comes to Reese's. He loves eating Oran berries and will respond to his name.
Shrugging at the information flashing across the board, Nero scrolls to the Store Bandits job and accepts it. His Pokédex displays the job.
The Pokémon that have been stealing from the shops have focused mainly on food. A Purrloin is usually spotted running from the scene but attempts to stop it have failed as it disappears quickly. The owner of the strip mall, Arnold Goldsby requests the thieves be stopped quickly before the businesses suffer.
Nero reads his own job data and then Jack's, "Oh this is easy. If we handle the bandits maybe we an work in some oran berries as part of the reward for the Lillipup." He starts looking through his pokedex for information on Purrlion, and then Lillipup.
"Alright," Jackson added that information to his notes and snapped his PokeDex shut, "I guess we should head for the mall then. But watch your wallet, kid. Earning enough for these Pokemon is going to be tough enough without us getting our money stolen." Jackson took his wallet in the breast pocket of his shirt and patted it with a nod.
Nero stuffs his smaller wallet into a zipper poked on his shorts. "Think four pokeballs will be enough?" He checks the nearest map and heads toward the market with the Purrloin problem. "I've never actually tried to catch a pokemon before, dad gave me Kipos."
As they discussed strategy, Nero and Jackson head across town towards there destination. Crossing over the large bridge connecting the city, they see planes landing and boats arriving in the harbor. Pokémon fly overhead towards the beach.
After 30 minutes, they find themselves in the Arbor Leaf Strip Mall. Several restaurants, a dry cleaner/tailor, an accessories shop, a bank, and a bakery make up the area. Several vehicles are parked in the large parking lot, but the lot is mostly empty given the time of day. Looking around, the boys see a sign pointing towards the office which is located at the end near the bakery.

Hi there! I'm Seya, a 24 y.o. editor in Atlantic Canada. I enjoy writing, reading, webcomics, art, worldbuilding, and video games (I can talk for ages about SotC and Monster Hunter...). Although I'm relatively new to playing Pokémon Tabletop via forum, I've been putting together sites like this for a long time, and I'm really excited to work with you all to create an awesome environment for Pokémon roleplay. While my job here is primarily to keep the site running smoothly, I'm always happy to chat, offer advice, and deal with any problems you run across. Let me know if I can be of any help. Inbox is always open! Cheers! xx :)
Hello! I'm Sly, the East Coast mod representative! I'm a 22 year old tax accountant who is exactly as exciting as that sounds, I'm sure. PTU is my major hobby, I run several games (of which the Geode games are my pet project), and I read a disgusting amount of fanfiction. I've been a member of the community for about a year, consider myself more GM material than player material, and am dedicated to helping make your time here enjoyable! If there's ever anything you need, don't be afraid to send me an owl! (Or a PM, I guess, if that works better for you.)
Hey there! I’m DataNinja, the West Coast representative. I'm the most active Staff member on here, so if you need something, try giving me a poke first, and I'll see if I can help sort out your problem. Always happy to help!
(1 May 2015): "For our first pack, we’re focusing on utility character options. Hopefully, this will give you both interesting insights into our dev process as we make changes over time and another focused avenue to give us feedback on what you’d like to see out of PTU."
People are out there, yes, but if you're looking for a game, sorry to say that things seem to be winding down overall. There's basically been... 3 games in the last 2 years, none of which got off the ground.

It's very slow, yes. You'll probably finish working on your game before one pops up here, and if you create a recruitment for it you can expect to be swarmed with applicants.

New games seem to open up slowly here, but if new people are still welcome, I don't mind waiting around (or working on my own). It looks like there's some useful stuff to browse in the meantime.

Keep an eye on the recruitment area of this website. They're rare nowadays, but any new games that crop up will show up there. If it's a live game you want though, you're outta luck.

but how else do i find games then?
Nov 28, 2019 6:17:00 GMT
Sounds to me like they weren't a group you'd want to be part of anyway.

Basically, GMs post recruitments in the appropriate section, and then players apply to the open games. Unfortunately, there has been a rather... small amount of games posted lately, but there's one currently recruiting right now.

Post on the Game Masters Seeking Players page. There are plenty examples there to go off of.
