451M0V ordered the Machop and the Magnemite accompanying him in cyberspace to help drag the tracking program back to meatspace. Maybe he could examine it further there.

As Gordon takes inventory, the food dispenser suddenly dispenses a bolt of lightning. The lightning coalesces into 451M0V and his Pokemon... and a googly-eyed, black blob covered in neon-green circuitry, unable to focus, move, or do anything beyond simply sitting on the floor, squelching.

Gordon look up, surprised but too tired to react much. "Well, that's one way in, but I'd prefer ye to use the door." He looks down at the blob, unsure what to make of it. "That thing for patchin' up or dissectin'?"

"Bit of both, actually. I could use some help."
451M0V began speaking over the comm system on the ship.
"Setsukko, our bug problem has been taken care of and we are ready to move."

Sometime while the others worked, Setsukko had begun splitting her attention from observing the current state of the ship and poring over an atlas Hilda had evidently composed. As this was the only clue so far regarding Hilda's future plans, Setsukko had decided that the next destination will be to one of these systems...
The only issue was, there was no clear "right" choice. She was ready to buckle down and make her way to an inhospitable system, it was the only way to avoid the corporates, and they clearly weren't going to survive another meeting with the big guns as they were right now. However, it was in a way clear why Hilda hadn't explored these sectors yet. Cthonian planets were environmentally hostile and rock planets only slightly less so. The one decent looking terrestrial world had corporate influence so it was automatically off the list. The other only had an independent settlement but all water on it was ice.
Asimov's voice came through the comms while Setsukko made her decision. "Copy that." Setsukko responded back through the comms as she zoomed in on a planet in the data: the terrestrial planet Sjofn II. This was, in the end, the only choice left to her. The low fuel warning forced them to make their last jump to a planet where they can refuel, a planet with human life not associated with corporate colonies.
Before announcing the trip, however, Setsukko switched to a private channel with Mewtwo. If she had such power from the pilot's seat, she would have muted Mewtwo shortly after he had begun sobbing. It was for his privacy, but considering the front she'd shown so far, no one could be blamed for thinking she was just annoyed at the crying. Now, though, she was talking to him through said private channel. "Hey, big kid. You alright?". Aw, how nice. Brisk tone aside, Setsukko could have sounded like she cared. "If you aren't, then I'm going to need you to get your head on straight right now. This ship has one more jump left in her, so we can't mess this up." Of course, she couldn't just stay nice. She had to ruin it by making it about business because, well, this was about something more important than business, her life and death. Could the navigator be relied on to make the jump safely? She needed to know at least that much.

Gordon hops down from the stool he was sitting on, walking over to the blob and looking it over carefully. "Well, cannae say I've ever seen somethin' like it before. What's the plan with it?"

"Well, even in meatspace, these things are typically mostly data. You can reprogram them, it is just a bit messier. I need to get at the core of this thing, so I need you to cut it open."
451M0V moved over to where he left the body of 7UR1NG and downloaded himself into the pokebot. With the assistance of 002, he began moving the tracker into the medical bay.

As the comms to Mewtwo come back on, the illegal legendary sniffles, but composes itself enough to say "Y-yes, I think I can... it's what she would've wanted..." The celestial coordinates of Setsukko's selection- Sjofn II- are transferred into Mewtwo's mind, giving the 'mon a clear path to your destination. In its tank, Mewtwo's eyes reflect the galaxy, and the ship enters faster-than-light travel as the Tajiri Drive kicks in with a shipwide rumble. An automated voice says "Destination: Sjofn II. Time to reach destination: one hour." Information crops up on Setsukko's computer, detailing not only the environmental conditions on the planet, but the types of Pokemon to be found there. *** 451M0V and his Pokemon have no problems hauling the blob into the infirmary. It was clearly designed to only work in cyberspace, and is out of its depths here. In minutes, the blob is on the table, ready for dissection- or vivisection, as the case may be. Local Pokemon, and planetary details, have been added for Sjnofn II.

While 451M0V is moving the blob, Gordon moves a stool next to the operating table and retrieves the necessary tools.
"Right," he says when everything's in position, "cannae really use anaesthetic without knowin' more about this thing's physiology, so I may need ye to hold it down if it starts strugglin'. Anyway, let's begin." After giving the others time to get into position, he takes a scalpel and starts cutting into the thing.

The blob makes little squealing sounds as Gordon slices into it. Slicing into it is like slicing into a loaf of bread; the thickness and consistency is like bread and no blood squirts out. However, it does spark every so often as large circuits are cut. There are no internal organs to speak of; the innards look almost like a fleshy computer. Technology Education check to make heads or tails of this.

451M0V examined the computer bits. Well, this is where he thrived. Let's see what we've got here.

This thing looks as if its intended function- providing up-to-the-second data on its location- only work inside of a computer. The googly-eyes are just for show; it depends on the ship's computers to determine its location. While it is incapable of harming anyone, it can rewrite and rebuild itself enough to get some kind of ambulatory movement, enabling it to move towards and reconnect to the ship's computer. However, while it can sense computers by their unique electrical output, it cannot sense any obstacles between it and its goal. It is effectively blind and deaf outside of cyberspace.

451M0V examines the program closer, moving some of its bits and bobs around, trying to reprogram it or gather more information on its origins.

451M0V cannot reprogram it, nor can he divine which corporate entity was responsible for its creation; the blueprints for these things are the same across the galaxy. However, he is able to determine that it has not been removed from cyberspace for some time; given the time and money needed to make these, and their inherent complexity, 451M0V can also determine that someone cared enough to invest significant resources to protect the Firefly. Whatever this ship is, it's more than just a home for Mewtwo- it holds secrets Hilda never told you, or secrets she never learned. Unless any of you have any actions or conversations you want to have (let me know on Discord if you do), this ends Session 1. Session 2 is going to be called "Stone Cold," and as the name suggests, it features an unfair amount of rock and ice types.
