"A doctor, an ice cream cone, two women, a psionic WMD, and a data lifeform all walk into a warehouse. Sound about accurate?" 451M0V's patience was growing thin, and was getting impatient with "Hilda," which was almost certainly not her real name. "Great, my life is turning into a bad joke." 451M0V attempted to open the door. He almost immediately found the door to be locked. "Really?"

Hilda unlocks the car for you guys before sliding the warehouse doors open. Even from this distance, the blast of cold air hits you hard, almost like a physical punch. The innards of the warehouse are coated in frost, and the frozen mist obscures something covered in ice... something big... Hilda returns and opens the trunk, gently waking Mewtwo. She looks at you all, pointing into the mist and saying "That's where our ship is." (Wait, the ship is an ice cube?) No, the ship isn't made of ice. The supercold ice is used to disguise the launch signature of the ship. Corporate space marines have no patience for pirates and illegal launches, and any illegal launch is "investigated"- i.e., cut into cubes and sent to be recycled (crew too.) However, coating your ship in ice prior to the launch fools the corporate sensors, allowing you to launch your ship with impunity... as long as the ice doesn't melt.

"Huh. Smart."
451M0V knows he can't necessarily scan the ship, due to the ice, but he should mayhaps still be able to tell what model it is.

Gordon shivers as the cold washes over him. "Aye, real brilliant, we're all in awe of yer foresight, now could we maybe get inside ?I'm assumin' the inside's warmer, otherwise, we'll get freeze before we get out of orbit. Or do ye want us standin' here fer a while more, oohin' and aahin' and turnin' into ice cubes?"

While Gordon cracks sarcastic quips, Hilda uses her fancy laser gun to carefully cut a large cube out of the ice- large enough to form a doorway. When she's finished, she uses a pair of ice tongs to extract the enormous cube, revealing a door leading into the ship. She taps in a code into a keypad next to the door, and it silently opens up. As she burns her way in, Mewtwo looks you all over and says "W-who are you people? Did Hilda bring you?" 451M0V It looks like this was once some kind of cargo ship, but you're not too sure. A better look at the innards of this ship would help determine what it is... or what it was in a previous life.

Setsukko stands shivering in the cold, refusing to say a single word, lest the warm breath that escaped as she spoke make her feel even colder. Sure, she knew this was standard procedure. She'd worked in enough illegal activities to work out what was happening with the giant freezer warehouse. That didn't mean she had to like standing in it, though.
She does give the Mewtwo a glance when he (she? it?) asked a telling question. The creature really was completely asleep this entire trip here. The ever suspicious street worker had thought that maybe it only seemed unconscious while its mind was doing psychic things elsewhere. There was more regarding the character of someone who would stutter while asking about the identity of strangers and who's mind would leap to one person in particular, but with just one line, all possibilities were just speculation.
Setsukko wasted no time in entering the ship once entry was provided. Though, as ever, she made her best act of appearing like she wasn't feeling like she was freezing to death. Hopefully, the inside was warmer. Although, even if it wasn't, then that just meant that there wasn't likely going to be anywhere warm until liftoff, and she wasn't going to try and pull off not talking for that entire time. Setsukko, likely late, answers Mewtwo's question once she's in the ship, smiling charmingly. "I'm Setsukko, and I've been hired by Hilda like the others." She pauses, glancing between Hilda and Mewtwo as she decides the kind of information she wanted to press for first. She choose the Mewtwo first, the weapon of mass destruction that she is pretending to be totally relaxed with. "What about you? Hilda explained what you are, but not really who you are" or why you're here, but Setsukko kept that last part to herself for now.

As you all follow Hilda into the ship, Mewtwo seriously ponders Setsukko's question before replying "I don't know. Hilda says it's a secret." The inside of the ship is significantly warmer- as in, it's almost sauna. A quick walk about the ship confirms it's a refurbished transport ship, and it seems to be equipped with several devices whose functions are unknown to you. "Welcome aboard the Firefly," Hilda says. "Pick a room and then help me with the freezer pumps. Liftoff in ten minutes." The floor plan of the spaceship is on Roll20. Take a look!

As 451M0V walks into the ship, he immediately begins searching for some kind of datajack outlet to plug into.
It would save everyone some time if he could figure out what this ship could do, and the fastest way to do that would be from the inside.

Gordon sighs. "I'll take whichever room is closest to the infirmary so I don't have to run as far when things go sideways. Now let's get this liftoff over with - I wanna take stock o' the medical supplies, see what I'm stuck usin'."
As he goes, he starts muttering to himself. "Help with the pumps ourselves... I'm a doctor, not a Golem."

"Even from yourself?" Setsukko asks. She raises an eyebrow. Seriously, every turn she took was telling her this was going from a bad idea to an even worse one. Still, what was she to do at this point?
Apparently pick rooms and then report to the freezer pumps... Riiiight. Setsukko picks a room, any old room, as ordered and then makes her way to the freezer pumps. Whew. That was a lot of walking. Not just right now, but over the course of the day. She shrugged a shoulder and said one word, "Toto," to initiate some sort of strange squirming and wriggling from beneath her clothes. The perpetrator showed itself, a pink blob, as it slithered out from Setsukko's sleeve into a puddle of goo that turned into a solid chair at the perfect height and position for Setsukko to fall back into and sit upon, primly crossing one leg over another. "Whew. Much better. Thank you, Toto~" she addressed the Ditto-chair before looking up at Hilda.

Hilda looks down at Setsukko. "Even you need to help," she growls. "My fridge pumps are out of gas, so we need them onboard in ten minutes, or the ice melts. And if the ice melts, we're sitting Psyducks. Understand"

Setsukko looked up benignly. Sure, she did have a certain air of entitlement when she took a seat, but it hadn't been without cause: concrete and infallible cause. Heaving herself up, Setsukko showed her understanding with action and proceeded to futilely attempt to move a pump.

I don't even need to see the roll to know that it was completely ineffectual. "I tried," Setsukko pointed out the obvious as she returned to her seat. However, instead of sitting in it, she gave a new set of commands to Toto. "Toto. Reform." The ditto shifted out of the chair and into its neutral, blobby form. Hilda had been right, no matter how tired and about to get sweaty Setsukko was, the clock was running down.
However, Setsukko still needed a few pieces. When the Porygon, the ship engineer, entered the room, she'd make a request, "Asimov, or do you prefer Dr. Asimov? Could you send out your Machop for my Ditto to model?".1d6

"Doctor Asimov, if you would. #002, come out."
The Machop pops out of the ball it had been stored in, stretching its synthetic muscle.
"We have work to do."
Both 451M0V and #002 begin pushing one of the pumps to its proper location.

Well, there was no way Setsukko could compete with that, but she understood that she couldn't start her first day of work with just the reputation of a slacker. "Toto," her voice insisted and the Ditto, understanding, transformed into an identical copy of 002. Setsukko pulled her share of the weight with some short, preemptive planning before ordering, "Rook, focus your strength here and here on the pump. Rotate as you push." As ordered, Toto proceeded to begin moving its pump.

The process is almost complete when something begins to cut its way through the door. You hear angry voices from outside. "C'mon! It's gotta be this one!" "Hilda's not getting away from us again!" "Go! Go! Go!" Hilda stops moving a pump, biting her lip in concern. "Corporates," she notes grimly. "Mewtwo, get ready! We need to be outta here as soon as possible! Everyone else, grab some cover get ready to fight until we're ready to go!"

Gordon and Odont's combined athletics: X04ViOaF4d6 Gordon looks up as he and Odont put down the pump they were carrying together. Unfortunately, it's the first one, since Gordon had to spend quite a while convincing her to carry it in her arms and not her mouth, no matter how much she insisted that she probably wouldn't bite clean through it. It might not have been so bad if he wasn't 90% sure she was just doing it to screw with him, time crunch or no. As he hears what's going on, he decides he doesn't need to be told twice and leaps behind the nearest cover. "Oh, terrific! Guess yer ice cube wasn't as undetectable as ye thought, was it?" As he readies his pack, Odont steps forward, grinning and ready for a fight. 4d6

Of course their launch wasn't going to be smooth and easygoing. Of course there was going to be last minute trouble. Of course a distraction wouldn't work because some of the pumps were still not on board the ship yet.
The boss's orders were to fight, so fight it was. She wasted no time. "Rook, revert, to me," and just like that, the Ditto was back on Setsukko's shoulder in its natural form. Although, this time above her clothes rather than below. Then, Setsukko slid behind not the nearest cover but actually one a little further away, Gordon's cover. "Room for one more, I hope?~" Setsukko asked lightly, her voice masking the pre-fight tension she keenly felt. What else was she going to do right now? Give an order? She knew nothing about the numbers or the group's chances against those outside. Should they focus on in-the-face offense or play a ranged defensive? Well, there was one thing she could prep without terrible consequences, "Unless otherwise specified, Rook, charge the enemy when ordered to advance."
((Reckless Advance bound to Ditto.))

"Oh, aye, make yerself comfortable." Gordon replies, though clearly more annoyed with the situation than with her. "I mean, why not get cosy in the brief time before get shot. Or die in deep space, that's always a fun option."

A section of the door falls away, and the faceless head of a corporate grunt peeks in. "Confirmed, it's her!" He/she/it shouts, pulling their head back through the hole. Several more sections fall away- not enough to admit entry, but enough for you to see two grunts and four Poochyena outside. The grunts appear to be armed with Flash Cannon rifles; they'll be sure to hit hard. Hilda pulls out her pistol, thinking a moment before going to 451M0V and producing a small device from her pocket. "Here," she says quietly, making sure the grunts can't see her. "Take this, in case I don't make it."

451M0V looks at the small device carefully, seeing what it could possibly be. His initial guess was the keys to the ship's ignition.
