Superbia shook his head and cracked his knuckles when Lucas thinks he's too injured for a fight "The Fae Spring brought my mana back to near full, and I would never give up a chance to prove myself in battle, especially not after that last mishap. Besides, I know have the Hellhound at my service, I'm sure it will make the fight go even quicker"
"Besides, even with this newfound....confidence, I don't want to leave you alone in a fight. You know the most about these creatures. Your knowledge makes you invaluable. Leave me to take the hits"

Lucas simply shrugs. "I had no intention of taking any, but suit yourself. Just stay out of sight until I've gotten their attention, then you can do whatever you want. Element of surprise, and all."

Lucas makes his way up over the ledge, crossing down into the basin. The three Pokémon at the spring turn to look up at the approaching human, with varying degrees of feralness and curiosity. They look like they're considering whether to attack him, or wait for him to get closer, or just see what he's going to do. MapLucas can set up to the right side of the map, within a meter or two. The other two are treated as if just off-map to the right.

Lucas nonchalantly walks closer to the three pokemon and the spring, though he leaves a little distance between them as a precaution. "You know, I thought I'd find something a little more exciting after coming all the way here. Are you three really the strongest defense this 'corruption' has to offer?" Feigning disappointment and boredom, the masked boy scoffs and looks at the Phantump in particular with disdain, trying to goad it into abandoning its spot above the pool. "What a let down. Well, I guess we'd better get started," Lucas sighs as he tosses a pokeball into the air with a snap of his wrist and releases his Rowlet. "Seraphine, let's rain on the Electric type's parade first. The other two aren't worth our time just yet." Her orders given, the owl shoots down a barrage of leaves on the twitchy yellow pokemon in the back before retreating back above Lucas. Lucas will start at W11. - Shift Action: Move to T11 - Standard Action: Manipulate - Bon Mot against the Phantump * Accuracy Roll: 11 vs AC 2 * Guile vs. Guile/Focus: 19 after Skill Monkey (first use of the day) * If success, the Phantump is Enraged for one full round and does not gain a Save check against this effect. - Free Action: Quick Switch for 1 AP to send out Sera at Q11, 3 meters up (temporarily at Initiative 15)
Sera: - Standard Action: Leafage against the Elekid * Accuracy Roll: 6 vs AC 2 * Damage: 26 Grass Physical - Shift Action: Move to T11, 3 meters up

"We strike at the heart of the corruption Inugami, that this place might be free of it, and we can return home. Fight hard." Iga spoke quietly to the small brown hound with it's expressive blue eyes. Once Lucas had asserted himself in the clearing, Iga struck up several hand gestures before dashing into the area, dog at his heels. As he ran the afterimages again came into being. This might prove to be a drawn out fight.

Lucas' taunting seems to draw the attention of the Pokémon near the pool, especially the floating stump, while Sera's attack leaves at least a few well-defined marks on the yellow Pokémon... who responds with a jolt of electricity, singing her feathers. The goat turns to Lucas, the closest target, and launches a barrage of its own leaves at him... though they go a little wide. The stump, though, has better luck, though it strikes at Sera with a ghostly swat, rather than floating down towards Lucas. All this means Iga and his companion are able to approach the pool unscathed. In contrast to the battle over by Lucas, it seems quite serene, rhythmic ripples emanating from the center. Phantump is Enraged. Sera hits with Leafage. Sera takes 22 damage from Shock Wave. Skiddo misses with Razor Leaf. Sera takes 17 damage and an injury from Astonish.

"Is that the best you can do? I thought maybe one of you might be able to land a hit on me, but it looks like I even overestimated that." With a roll of his eyes, Lucas turns his back to the wild pokemon and starts leisurely walking away from them, deliberately guiding their eyes away from Iga. Once he feels just far enough, the boy snaps his fingers. "Seraphine, let's wrap this up quick. I'm getting bored already." The Rowlet, not one to be distracted from a task started, backs off from the Phantump and peppers the yellow zapper with more leaves. Lucas: - Shift Action: Move to T15 (no AoO due to Run Away) - Standard Action: Agility Training on Sera (+1 movement, +4 initiative for one round) Note: Will use Dive as an Interrupt if targeted by a Ranged 1-Target or AoE attack.
Sera (temporarily at Initiative 9): - Shift Action: Disengage to U11, 3 meters up - Standard Action: Leafage against the Elekid * Accuracy Roll: 11 vs AC 2 * Damage: 27 Grass Physical

Moving to the water's edge, Iga produced a handful of spores he'd gathered from the mushrooms he recognized as poisonous as they traveled the wood. He blew the mass in a thin stream at the odd discolorations on the water. "Inugami, Thundering Fang." The hound at his side opened it's maw and... shoved it's head into the spring.

Once the attacking started, Superbia rushed out of the bushes throwing out Minions Pokeball next to the goat thing before continuing running his body low enough to the ground that it seemed like he was bounding along on all fours, his tail whipping behind him until he had passed Lucas. As he slid to a stop he realized he couldn't quite reach his initial target and growls out at it " I give you one chance beast. Bow before my might, or suffer my wrath!" As he shouted, the purple chain dragon once more took shape before wrapping around the yellow creature. With that, he turned his attention towards the goat thing and struck out with his claws as Minion also made a strike with it's makeshift club, aiming for a weak point. Superbia is releasing Minion and charging forward before using Regal Challenge on the Elekid. If it Defers he will lower its Special Attack.
Then he uses Wounding Strike on the Skiddo and Minion uses Force Palm
Wounding Strike with a 12 vs AC 2 for 28 Normal Damage plus a Tick as well
Force Palm with a 10 vs AC 2 for 30 Fighting Physical damage

As Superbia and his Minion join the fray, it's clear that the quadruped is taking a beating, beginning to pant after the pair have unleashed their blows. But yet it stands. From such an attack, the yellow humanoid stands back a step, showing hesitation. As Lucas backs away from the fighting, Iga and his dog attempt to attack... the water? The powder sprinkles atop the water, and the electricity scatters along the surface... it seems to cause the thing to ripple faster. Until the pool surges upwards, coalescing into the form of a rainbow-sheened giant water blob, towering over the battlefield. Many amorphous libs extend from and retract back into its body, as it surveys the battlefield. Once again the yellow Pokémon erupts with electricity, and once more it strikes at Sera, seeking out the owl, and severely weakening her. She dodges back from the stump, before striking back at the electric 'mon, severely weakening it in return. Unfortunately, she's pursued by the wooden floating Pokémon, which manages to hit her enough to exhaust her, where she falls to the ground. The goat by Superbia jumps back a little bit, before unleashing a barrage of sharp leaves at him and Minion... but, it seems too tired, and the razor crescents just instead lazily float by. Meanwhile, the monster that was the spring takes objection to a sparking dog sticking its head into it, and blasts the pup point-blank range with a forceful stream of water. Skiddo is hit by Wounding Strike. Skiddo takes an injury from Force Palm. Elekid shows deference. Poison Powder hits the pool. It's poisoned. Thunder Fang hits the pool. It's super effective! Sera takes 17 damage from Shock Wave. Elekid takes an injury from Leafage. Skiddo Disengages. Skiddo misses with Razor Leaf. Sera takes 15 damage from Astonish, an injury, and Faints. Rockruff takes 46 damage and an injury from Water Gun.

Lucas turns around at Superbia's shout of demands just in time to see the monstrosity emerge and the duo of attacks that makes his partner fall out of the sky. Not giving much of a reaction at first, he silently recalls Seraphine from the ground and sends out the Taillow he caught yesterday to take care of the bothersome tree spirit in her place. However, the masked boy then glares coldly at the electric pokemon that assisted the Phantump. "Can't even take a hint, huh? If that's how you're gonna be, then get out of the way." Giving it no time to respond, Lucas rushes at the yellow sparkplug and shoves it towards the pool, unconcerned about whether it falls in the water or gets absorbed by the giant ooze. Although he forgets to leave his new Taillow with instructions, it twitters feverishly at the Phantump in front of it before diving at it. Lucas: - Free Action: Quick Switch for 1 AP to recall Sera and send out Taillow at T12 (temporarily at Initiative 25) - Shift Action: Move to R14 - Standard Action: Push Maneuver against the Elekid * Accuracy Roll: 17 vs AC 4 * Opposed Combat/Athletics: 15 * If success, the Elekid will be Pushed all the way back to O11 into the pool with the giant slick, Lucas following up to Q13
Taillow: - Standard Action: Peck against the Phantump * Accuracy Roll: 7 vs AC 2 * Damage: 28 Flying Physical

Superbia resumed his charge when the goat creature ran from him, reaching the electric monster and rearing back while shrouding his arms in the purple energy which seemed to pulsate as he struck out, his claws glinting with sharpness. " Well my little Minion, that goat thing needs to get out of the fight. Destroy it" He calmly orders. The Timburr nods before taking a few steps forward and setting its club into the ground before striking forward with its palm once more Superbia is using Dragon Claw AC 2 vs a 4 for 32 Dragon Physical damage on a hit and also using Brutal Training as a swift Action.
Minion is using Force Palm with a 13 vs AC 2 for 32 Physical Fighting type damage

(Rockruff should have taken two injuries, as that was massive damage).
This was going to take a higher price then he was normally willing to pay, with how it loomed, spread, and corrupted. Iga closed his eyes and drew an iron spike from his belt, hidden away as it was. Sharpened and carefully runed in mystic script, he gestured with his free hand, and then drove it into his palm with a cold expression in his eyes. It hurt. Old, dark magics that only the greatest of his order dared meddle with. "Forbidden Technique: Blackblood!" The needle thunked into the spring monster without fail, and Iga clutched his wrist. The hound at his ankles again lunged.
Iga uses Curse, loses 19 Hitpoints, and Spring Monster is Cursed!

Superbia and Minion press onwards, felling both the yellow humanoid, and the goat, leaving only the stump to be pecked at by Lucas' bird - and, while it doesn't fall, it does seem to be an effective strike, with the ghostly figure launching a ball of disorienting light before it backs away. Iga and his dog seem to be finding some success, too. The electrical fangs of the hound causing ripples and thrashing, while an unearthly sound emanates from it when Iga manifests his forbidden technique. Between all of these factors, there appears to be some cohesion lost in the gelatinous mass... but it's not felled yet. Once more it launches a blast of water at the Rockruff nearby, this time felling it entirely. At the same time, multiple tendrils shoot out towards the bird harassing its last minion, snagging it and pulling the hapless thing close. Yet another tentacle, too, briefly attaches itself to the yellow monster that Superbia felled... and it momentarily rises again, glowing with transferred energy, to kick its legs at Superbia, trying to knock him over, before collapsing once more to the ground. Elekid Faints from Dragon Claw. Skiddo faints from Force Palm. Taillow hits with Peck. It's super effective! Iga hits with Curse. Rockruff hits with Thunder Fang. It's super effective! Taillow is Confused from Confuse Ray. Phantump disengages. Rockruff takes 45 damage 3 injuries, and Faints from Water Gun. Taillow is pulled to Q12 from Threaded. Superbia takes 22 damage from Low Kick.

" What foul Necromancy is this, beast!?" Superbia screams as he pushes past his fallen foe, his legs feeling a sting but the Demon ignores it, his target in sight. " Minion, tear him to shreds" With a feral leap, the warrior prince strikes out with his blades once more, the energy from his previous attacks being absent as he rips through the foe. Minion responds by running up and using his club to lift himself higher, striking a pressure point with all of his might. Superbia uses Brutal Training as a swift and Wounding Strike AC 2 vs 17 for 27 Normal Damage and a Tick of damage.
Minion will crit with Force Palm with an 18 vs AC 2 dealing 54 physical Fighting damage and Paralyzes the big thing

"I know not, but among my people there is a saying, that even Kami can bleed!" Iga called back to Superbia. He was running out of options, his usual fighting style didn't favor direct combat like this, and the creature seemed to prefer where it was. He must press even with what appears less favorable options.
Several Mudra later and a blast of flame issued at the creature, the ninja using the distraction to release Tsuchigumo to the creature's northern flank, shrieking in tones so high and powerful it caused distortions in the air.

Despite Superbia's and Iga's outcries about the strange doings of the water monster, Lucas considers everything to be going well on their end. Unfortunately, one of its tendrils did drag away his Taillow from the now-unoccupied Phantump, and the disoriented bird looks like it has no intention of re-engaging the ghostly stump at the moment, even if he says something. Not about to let the Phantump potentially disrupt the main fighters, Lucas decides to move in himself, even knowing that he would be largely ineffectual against the ghost. Still, with a trick up his sleeve, he propels forward and plants his hands on the ground while his momentum carries him, swinging around his right foot at the pokemon's wooden head as he aims to knock it out of the air, before landing back on his feet, fully prepared for a retaliation. Lucas: - Shift Action: Move to T11 - Standard Action: Trip Maneuver against the Phantump * Accuracy Roll: 5 vs AC 6
* Opposed Combat/Acrobatics: 15
Taillow: - Standard Action: Quick Attack against the Giant Slick * Accuracy Roll: 4 vs AC 2 * Damage Roll: 24 Normal Physical * Loses 5 HP from Confusion - Confusion Save: 17 (cured)

Superbia rips into the gelatinous mass, causing chunks to fly out, and it once again makes an unearthly noise, before pulsing several times, seeming to grow darker, and in some ways larger. Certainly, more pseudopods extrude from it, flailing around in the air. Minion makes its attack, sending reverberations through the slime, which do seem to slow it down, rippling through the ooze. It doesn't seem to do a lot of damage, though, mostly being absorbed into the gelatin. That's better than Taillow, though, who doesn't even seem to make a scratch in the surface. Lucas is similarly ineffective, the stump just floating a little bit out of reach, almost giggling sinisterly. And while the screech from Iga's spider seems to get through to destabilize the mass... but Iga's own attack simply extinguishes upon touching the creature. It doesn't seem that the pond wants to burn. At least the stumps jab at Lucas before it retreats is similarly ineffective, Lucas easily able to dodge. Releasing a screech, the spring lets out a cry, and begins to glow, rippling with rainbow energy. All of a sudden, Superbia and Lucas feel rather tired and thirsty... it would probably be a good idea to just stop fighting, and take a draught of the cool, clear water in front of them. A part of them realizes that this feeling isn't theirs, but there's another part of them that agrees. At the same time as this goes on, one of its tentacles waves, before unleashing a rippling ray in the air that flies towards Minion, hitting it. While it doesn't seem to be very worrying, it causes the humanoid to clutch at its head, spasming. Superbia Staggers the Giant Slick, causing it to take an injury. It is cured of all Statuses. Minion hits the Giant Slick and Paralyzes it. It's not very effective... Taillow misses. Sonic Boom hits. Will-O-Wisp hits. It has no effect. Astonish misses. Phantump disengages. Superbia is Infatuated with the Giant Slick. Lucas is Infatuated with the Giant Slick and Slowed, and requires two successful saves against Infatuation to fully end the effect. The first one cures Slowed, the second Infatuation. Minion takes 37 damage and 2 injuries from Psybeam.

Superbia watched as his Minion was struck by the beasts magical onslaught. The poor creature couldn't retaliate like that, his talents being in smashing things. Saying a few words under his breath, Superbia held out his left hand towards his Pokemon " As Liege and Lord I grant my powers to thee. Harden like the walls of a mighty castle and Brace for Impact my Minion!" The purple energy shoots forth from his hand and coalesces around the Pokemon, forming makeshift armor for a second before sinking into it. It quickly hefts its club and swings it down a little sluggishly at the massive creature ahead of it. Superbia is using a Commanders Voice to both Bind Brace for Impact and activate Sentinal Stance, both on Minion

Minion's strike seems to get through and send some reverberations through the creature... but not as much as could be hoped, given the lack of reaction on the creature's behalf, at least compared to some other strikes. The creature, seeing that Superbia doesn't seem to be terribly affected by its attempt at getting him to stand down, tries a different tactic, sending a swirl of water towards him. But, thankfully, it goes wide. The tendril-induced electrical jolt coming from the Elekid hits Taillow, though, though the bird keeps fighting on. Minion hits with Pound. Whirlpool misses Superbia. Taillow takes 31 damage and 2 injuries from Shock Wave.
