[OOC: I can wait. I want the character to become more viable in combat before we move on.]

[OOC: OK. What I am going to do, initially, is note the stat requirements across the classes, compared to the moves they enable, and the frequency with which such moves can be performed. The probable nerfs I'll go with are use-limits, but stay tuned.]

[OOC: Some good news: I have some more free time now, and I have figured out a good approach for revising the Psychic. I will probably be done soon.]

[OOC: Alright, I have finished revising the core Psychic; at least to the extent I can without more testing. What I ended up doing is adding use limits; not the most creative solution, but one that resembles what most other class features have, and also one that promotes trying out more Psychic features. As it had been, simply learning Extrasensory and then just boosting Constitution and Wisdom would have been a viable strategy to be better at combat than most peers; including some early-level Pokemon. Now, because all of the moves have use limits, more Psychic features will have to be used; the same as is the case with other trainers and with Pokemon.
If you look at the revised Psychic guide or the character sheets, you might notice a lot of frequencies being once-per-ten-levels daily. I didn't intentionally make them so copypasta, but this was the result of the approach I ended up using. For the record, the Martial Artist was the class I was matching the Psychic against, and I figured out what I hoped was a good formula for converting the moves: Look at not only those classes and their features, but also Pokemon. For every move the Psychic had, I would look at what its frequency was for Pokemon to use it. Then, I would find a move with the same frequency that Martial Artists could also learn. Once I did, I looked at its trainer version, and copied that frequency to the original Psychic feature move.
Whether this is enough of a nerf, or maybe even too much, time will tell. Still, for the moment, Wally is ready to go experiment.]

Like every day, Wally first attempts to repair a broken Poké Ball. Then he visits the Mart as well to purchase 5 more Poké Balls.

Success! Wally fixed a ball, and then bought five more!
Sam: Good going! Anything else you want to do before we got on another Pokemon hunt?

Wally: I thought we might have a look at the Gym. Maybe someone else will be there looking to challenge it as well.

The two arrive at the museum/gym. The girl at the cash register summons Dr Rockwell to see them. Doug Rockwell: Why hello there, Wally! I have good news; the cloning was a close-call, but I managed to get one egg out of it! Please take good care of it, and if either of you want a gym battle, just let me know! drive.google.com/file/d/1fTx-dgUUOeGLfz9TLgIIsE70Fs7KSHi0/view?usp=sharing[ OOC: Regarding the other guy, it's been a while since I've heard from him, so I don't know what's going on in his life right now. I can try contacting him again, but even if I can finally get him on board, there would likely be a lag while he made his character.]

[OOC: He's a bit ambiguous, but I might be able to get him to create a character by this Friday. He and I messaged a bit today, although it tapered off, so I don't know for sure yet.]

[OOC: Sorry I haven't gotten back in a while. The other guy has started reading the stuff I sent him, but I'm not sure if he's started making the character yet. We can do some stuff like more wild encounters in the meantime, if you wish.]
