With a sharp nod at Aikan, Rati produced a Den Den Mushi. "We should move quickly towards the docks and soon. The Marines will begin sweeping in formation in earnest before too long, once the confusion dies down."
Activating the transceiver, she dialed and waited while it rang, chewing her lower lip and periodically scanning their surroundings.

Io was glad that the group seemed to have reached a consensus which didn't involve fighting/liaising with marines on their home turf. Were the situation not so serious, the relief would be showing on her face, but as it was, her expression was currently a little firm. It did relax some when she saw Rati dialing a number to what should be their ticket out of here.
"I agree," Io said in response to Rati's warning. "We should get moving." She wasn't the most gifted person when it came to directions, but she did know the general area in which the docks were.

As the group makes their way quickly towards the docks; the Den Den Mushi in Rati's hands comes to life, it's flat gaze suddenly transforming into a cheery smile. "Heya-heya! Didn't expect to hear from you so soon Rati! What's up?!" The thing's eyes have changed to a bright pink iris and it has a chipper nature to it as it mimics the person on the other end. "Did your big date stand ya up?"
The docks themselves seem to be fairly quiet given the late hour. There's a couple of dingy taverns that are open, but they look to be pretty rough places. More of them seem to be closed, likely thanks to a lack of business due to the rivalry between the Marine captains putting their customers in shackles.

"I hope that is all it was, the bar we were supposed to meet at got targeted for Marine Justice." She replied despondently, making a face. "I know this is a bit far for you to range Whitney, but is there any hope of a pickup in Lougetown? Currently on the run with a small group of..." Delighted bemusement slipped into her voice. "Wonderful characters, perhaps even another like me..."

At Rati's and Aikan's replies Raúl nods, well if she had some way of getting them out of here quickly without stealing a ship that'd be fine. They hadn't actually assaulted anyone in the bar so there was a good chance they wouldn't get very high bounties, most of them might not even get any. Which was all to the good, Raúl didn't want to drag anyone into his own vendetta unless they had a reason to. This meant he couldn't prod things away from their current course here but Rati was right, he didn't know any of the players here personally. Would Perl even listen to him if he had shown up? Raúl had been a new faced recruit for most of his stay with Stolk and that was years ago. Shrugging he moved off with the group when they headed out.
After a bit, Rati pulled out a Den Den Mushi and began a conversation. As he wondered what exactly she was up to, he'd figured most of this lot to be wanderers pulled to Logue Town the same way people had been for years. Looking for passage into the Grand Line or looking for a crew. Her last response caught him off guard. He guessed he could see something pass between the two when they were dancing, shaking his head he scolded himself. It was more likely she was talking about that strange smoke bomb that laid down a globe of darkness. He'd have to think about this a bit more.

Io didn't pay too much attention to the scenery of the docks. It was quite empty and quiet, but that was to be expected. Instead she focused on listening in on Rati's call, not making this inappropriately obvious, though it wasn't like she could avoid listening either or like Rati was trying to stop anyone from doing that. From the sounds of it, it seemed like the dark skinned beauty was part of some kind of group. Io hoped they would have the chance to travel together for at least some time despite that. She still had to learn Rati's dance after all, and who knows what else she could learn.
The name Rati called her conversation partner was not one that Io knew, but then Io still didn't really know much about the world beyond the Eventide Kingdom. What did get Io's attention though, was when Rati talked about someone that was like her. Considering that Io had been the one to interact with Rati the most, that meant she was most likely the one being talked about here. 'Did she see through my pretense of a smoke bomb? Though she did say 'might''. Either way, Io might have to talk with Rati about not spreading that suspicion around, if that was actually what she was talking about. The warrior priestess hadn't actually seen any hint of Rati having devil fruit powers herself after all. Perhaps she meant 'good at dancing' or something else? Io mentally filed this away to ask about later.

Aikan had expected Rati to have maybe someone who could help find a small boat or something, not a pickup. He stared at the girl in curiosity. She seemed to have a lot of contacts, especially if she could randomly call someone to grab her and a bunch of strangers from Loguetown.
Shrugging, he decided to file that tidbit for later and instead took a look at the multiple locales.
"Might be a good idea to not stand here in the open, guys"

The radio snail looks contemplative for a moment, before making a moue of apology. "Ohhhh, sooooooorry honey-buneary, but dropping you off was kind of a side thing while we got set up for our real gig. But!" the woman on the other end continued brightly, "thanks to our extra special mission, I do know that there's a recently impounded caravel down on dock thirty-four. With all the hubbub on the island it's probably only got a skeleton crew of guards on it. Just convince them to leave the ship so you can cast off and you'll be on your way easy-peasy!" The snail's expression turns surprised. "Whoopsie, looks like I have to go. Talk to ya later Rati, ciao!"
With that the Den Den Mushi's face settled back into the blank stoicism that the species was known for.

"Guess larceny it is, but at least it isn't a marine ship." Rati sighed and offered her new friends a little smile. "I'm sure a caravel is better managed by a crew this size then one of those massive warships anyway, let's get going." The dock numbering was fairly self explanatory, and with all the loading and unloading going on, there was hopefully some measure of cover leading to their destination.

"Well I suppose that's been decided then. Lead the way, and I will follow." C.C. could barely contain his excitement. This is how grand adventures begin.

Nodding Raúl acquiesced. Most of these people just wanted to get away at this point. He'd most likely get thrown in the brig without much fuss, and he couldn't find Perl on his own. So that settled things even if he wasn't sure stealing a ship was the best idea.
"Alright, I'm with you. Let's go."

Io wasn't exactly excited about stealing a ship, but if she was honest, it had been the first thing she thought of earlier. Nyx was a wise ruler and taught her people that this was a ruthless world and people sometimes had to do unsavory things to get by. At the same time though of course, she ruled with an iron fist and stomped out crime as much as possible. Her following incarnations ruled in very much the same way, though that didn't stop some corruption from growing in the upper ranks of the Eventide Kingdom.
Io shrugged, then nodded, returning Rati's small smile. "Let's do this."

The group manages to make its way down the relatively deserted docks, finding the berthing that Rati's friend had pointed her towards. Tied up at the pier was a relatively small caravel class vessel, the sails furled tightly, and patches of pain on the hull showing where the former owner's marks had likely been painted over. The build of the ship indicated at least moderate cabin space along with room in the hold, but you'd have to get aboard to really inspect it. And barring your way was a Marine, drowsing as he leaned against the rails of the gangway. The man swayed back and forth slightly, the Pidgey perched atop his head not seeming to be bothered in the least as it napped as well, head tucked under its wing. Up on deck you can see the lanterns are lit, but at this time of night unless there was an urgent need for repairs, any other members of the watch or skeleton crew that have been posted here are likely asleep belowdecks. You've found a ship... now what?

As the group approached Raúl eyed the ship. It seemed sturdy enough, the group should be able to manage it. Slowly his eyes drifted to where the man on guard was standing. They'd have to figure out what too... His eyes stuck on the Marine. He was sleeping at his post! Fuming and with no forethought Raúl charged up to him and began shouting.
"What! Sleeping at your post!? Is this how far this organization has fallen!? What sort of SLIPSHOD operation is Carne running here!"
Raúl prodded the man in the chest hard.
"Honestly, all of the boneheaded incompetent..."
Raúl continued sputtering insults into the mans face, not letting up an inch.

Rati makes the attempt to slip by while Raul tears the man apart. Her ability to move unobserved was never particularly skilled, but hopefully with the big guy bellowing in the marine's face he wouldn't notice the slight woman dart past.

Aikan, not wanting to get caught up in Raul's mess, dived into the water and attempted to swim to the far side of the caravel with the intent of climbing up the side of it. Athletics for Climb if needed. JgkQa_tf4d6 +2 because I forgot bonus from shoes

Io was preparing herself to sneak past the drowsing guard and infiltrate the ship, when Raúl walked up to the napping man and started berating him. I suppose you can take the man out of the marines, but you can't take the marines out of the man, Io thought, unsure whether to laugh or cry. Let's try and fix this. With that thought, Io released Callisto in front of the gangway. Looking around, she saw Rati rather badly attempt to sneak past and Aikan dive into the water, most likely to get to a different side of the ship. It looked like it was up to her to make sure this guy and especially his bird didn't shout and alert everyone else.
"Feint Attack," Io commanded succinctly, pointing at the bird. Callisto nimbly jumped onto the rail and delivered a blow to the sleeping Pidgey. Io followed this up with a punch of her own, fist blazing with darkness. Hopefully that would take it out, leaving just the marine. Io was aware that she was now revealing her devil fruit powers, but the marine shouldn't be aware of it, meaning the only people who could see were Rati, C.C. and Raúl, whom she could tell not to share the information with others.
Io turns to Raúl, face serious, but her eyes lit up with excitement after getting to punch something. "We don't have time to waste with this guy, help me knock him out please. If you have any rope to tie him up with afterwards, that would be appreciated." Io likely should explain her worry about the guy sending off his Pidgey to alert the other guards. Perhaps if they had appeared peaceful, the guard wouldn't have thought they were trying to steal the ship, but with him in the way, they wouldn't be able to get onto the ship without taking him out anyway, because they were in fact, trying to steal the ship. Oh well, Raúl seemed like a big talker, if he wanted to know her reasoning, he'd likely ask.

C.C didn't even have time to react to Raul's big mouth before Io and her mon both managed to get a shot of on the sleeping marine's bird. This woman was obviously a devil fruit user, but he didn't really care. That meant she was likely the reason they escaped.
"I know we were probably going to have to take them out anyway, but that was probably excessive." C.C. releases Paulie just in case the marine came to his senses.

Raul's sudden assault has the Marine off kilter, not able to get a word in edgewise as the other man blusters. He does spot Rati's blatant attempt to swan up the gangplank however. But his split focus means that he completely misses Aiken's smooth dive off the pier, the fishman entering the water without even a ripple and easily diving under the caravel to reach the far side in a much shorter time than swimming around the ship would have taken.
As Aiken clambers up the rough wooden sides of the ship, strong fingers finding seams where he could, or making divots where there were no handholds through sheer brute force, he hears the sounds of men mobilizing, no doubt thanks to the commotion Raul is making on the pier. Hoisting himself up enough to peer through the railing, he sees five men in hurriedly donned uniforms rushing from below decks.
As the Marine desperately tries to regain control of the situation, Io takes prevantative measures of her own. Her pokemon's attack was met with stunned indignation even as the Pidgey shook its head. That was replaced with near-gibbering fear as Io unleashed her own powers. The Pidgey, pushed beyond it's rather limited endurance, finally fell to the quay with a soft chirp. It was still breathing, but most definitely out for the count. The Marine manages a deep breath between Raul's pokes, and then yells, loud and long; definite panic in his voice. "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
At the gangway you can see a quintet of Marines moving to disembark, and preparing to throw pokeballs, likely to surround you all and prevent escape.
